ORIGIN RESEARCH

Separate what we know from what we propose.

ORIGIN does not use research language to make ordinary wellbeing ideas sound more certain than they are. This space will document evidence, hypotheses, protocols, limitations and results as the research programme develops.

THE SCIENTIFIC BOUNDARY

Established evidence supports components. ORIGIN proposes the integration.

Direct ORIGIN research must establish whether the integration, sequencing and context-sensitive decision logic add useful value beyond credible component practices and education.

RESEARCH PROGRAMME

Three connected streams.

CONCEPTUAL PAPER

Reconnection in Modern Life

The conceptual foundation for ORIGIN's integration hypothesis: established evidence supports components to varying degrees; ORIGIN proposes the integration.

FEASIBILITY PILOT

RESET-1

A planned two-arm randomized feasibility pilot designed to test delivery, adherence, acceptability, burden, safety and exploratory wellbeing signals — not definitive efficacy.

EVIDENCE REVIEWS

Component Evidence

Structured reviews of the evidence beneath breathwork, meditation, movement, recovery, reflection, behaviour and related ORIGIN practices.

PUBLICATION STANDARD

Status before storytelling.

Conceptual work will be labelled conceptual. Pilot protocols will be labelled pilot protocols. Pre-registration, ethics status, peer review and completed results will only be stated when they actually exist.

Null, mixed or unfavourable findings belong in the research record too.
